Professional Carpet Cleaning:

Basic cleaning will remove some minor stains and odors. No carpet cleaning service can guarantee results when removing pet stains and odors on a basic cleaning. Often, special enzymes and chemicals will need to be used to eliminate the smells. Pet urine soaks into carpet padding and under-flooring, making it very difficult to eliminate.

It may be necessary that we replace that part of the pad or under-flooring.

There are two choices if pet urine has stained or removed some carpet coloring. Consumers have two choices if either happens:

1. The technician may be able to cut out the bad area and replace it with a piece from a remnant or a piece from the back of a closet. The location of the stain, the age of the carpet and amount of natural fading of the carpet color influence the practicality of this choice.

2. We may be able to re-dye the spots, but we can't always guarantee a perfect color match. Carpets take dyes differently and the process is as much an art as it is a science. Make sure you point out known pet odors/stains.

Pet Owner Tips:

If carpet has a natural enemy, it has to be pets. When the dog, cat or other pet creates a mess, it is most important to clean it up as soon as possible. Then, blotting the area with dry absorbent towels will reduce problems by getting the urine out before it can soak in and permanently stain the carpet.
